In 1954, Bill and Lily McEvoy left Ireland for a new life in Long Island. (Click here to learn more about Bill’s life and work.) Not long after arriving in NY, Bill picked up the drywall trade. His sign is still seen today on Hawkins Avenue in Lake Grove.
His son, Kieran, one of nine McEvoy children, later started his own branch, expanding the business into what it is today.
Early on, Bill McEvoy developed a reputation for reliable service, high-quality work and low prices. Thousands of customers later, we’re still honoring that legacy.
Thank you so much for all your hard work! My husband and I never thought our walls could look this good.
The last drywall company we used left a huge dusty mess. But you guys left our house amazingly clean, and the job was perfect. Thanks!
I thought we would have to rip out my old walls and ceilings, but your skimcoat solution gave me new walls and ceilings for probably half the price.
